I still have a few more holiday short story sessions (aka mini sessions) to share with you! I can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve! This month has been super busy with sessions (for some reason I thought December would be quiet). So of course, my session with little Ms. M got put off until just two days ago. The session of course took place in my natural light studio in downtown Vancouver. My girl is just over 2 years old now and for some reason I thought this session would be easy. I figured, since she’s shown so much interest in watching me edit sessions with so many other kids, that she would be delighted to get in front of the camera again. I have to say, this was one of the most difficult and shortest sessions ever! The problem is, this girl knows all my tricks. Every single one. My husband and I begged her for her time, it was pretty funny. With a few suggestions (and bribery), I am so happy with these images of my growing girl.
When she saw the ornaments lying around, her thought was to decorate the wooden trees. I mean, that’s what ornaments are for, right?
That’s her “fab” look. She’s pretty proud of herself.
Ms. M will only wear her wool coat for short periods of time, after which she says, “It’s prickly, mama, I have to take it off”.
To throw in some fun, we got her to throw some ornaments up in the air. Note to self, these ornaments are hard when they hit your head!
Including her little winter teddy into the shots was important for her.
