What a fun day in the city we had for this session! This beautiful quartet are some of my “legacy clients”; clients who come to me year after year to do family portraits. I not only feel honored that they would trust me with their portraits so many times, but also feel a special sense of joy getting to watch their family grow through the years, as well. Each year that we have met up, we have chosen a different location or style, and this time, we all agreed an urban session would be a fun change. We landed on the historic district of Gastown in Vancouver, where the sunshine was in abundance! If you’ve never been to Gastown, be sure to add it to your travel roster…it boasts rich history, pretty locations, and plenty of shops and restaurants. It’s an ideal spot for travel or photographs!
Mom and dad (Tova and Mike) were a delight to work with, as were their sweet kids, Cohen and Charlotte. The kid’s personalities were so fun, and we coaxed tons of happy smiles from the whole family. Many of my clients know me for my studio work (which I love), but I also love doing on-location, outdoor shoots as well. The lovely weather in Spring and Summer makes the perfect setting for family portrait sessions.
Stay tuned right here to the blog for more outdoor sessions, and contact me to schedule your own!
