The sweet little baby (residing in the beautiful baby bump photographed below) is one lucky little one! Mom and dad are an amazing power couple…Kristin is in her residency for general surgery in Vancouver, and dad Hassan runs an extremely busy and successful notary practice in the city. When they were married a few years ago, I was the one honored to photograph their small, intimate, and meaningful ceremony on Granville Island. When they called me to photograph this new season of their lives, I was so thankful! We chose the Spanish Banks in Vancouver for their maternity session, and we landed on a very cloudy, cool day. It was very much like the day of their wedding, so these two were ready for the overcast skies and made the most of it!
The couple found out they are having a little boy, who was born just recently in December! I can’t wait to share their newborn session. When clients ask me to continue to document the changing milestones in their lives, I feel really privileged. They allow me to step into some of their most precious moments and be a part of them, and that’s something I definitely don’t take lightly.
