This little blue-eyed angel and his family recently came into my studio to celebrate his arrival into the world. Most new babes sleep through their sessions, but this little guy wanted to stay awake! I’m so glad that he did, because his beautiful blue eyes were perfect! We had an abundance of pretty natural light flooding my studio, which made the best setting for Alexander and his mom, dad, and sister. Those show-stopping blue eyes run in the family, and his proud big sister Victoria was more than happy to get some time in front of the camera as well!
We also did portraits of the whole family, and I have to say, it’s photos like this that will remind you what the days with young kids were REALLY like: sometimes hard, but always rewarding. Victoria was asked if she wanted to hold her baby brother, but she didn’t seem too impressed. She is still learning what being a big sister is all about, but she was doing a great job (and so were mom and dad). I wanted to be sure that Victoria had some quality time in front of the camera. It’s important for me to let the older siblings know that they are still very important and loved. This little sweetie was loving all the extra attention, and her little watermelon print dress was so fun and cheery!
I’m so excited to see Victoria and her little brother Alexander again for another session. It’s always interesting to see the dynamic of two siblings and how it changes over time. If you’re considering a newborn or family session, I hope you’ll hop on over to my full site here. You’ll find all the session information and details there, including my Signature Session, and my maternity and newborn collections.
