As you can see, these two had tons of personality…they are preparing for their wedding, and wanted a special portrait session that included Tarinder’s 1968 Buick Riviera GS…his other love! They requested a fun, laid-back session near the city and close to the water. I think we got as close to the water as we possibly could.
We met up at Vanier Park, home to the Vancouver Museum and the beautiful Pacific Space Centre. There are lots of interesting building and architecture details around the property, and we had a gentle breeze and open skies. It was the perfect spot to allow them to be themselves and yes, we even included their love of Batman (if you are local, be sure to visit Vanier Park); it’s a really fun spot with lots to see and do)! It was a delight to work with this young, cute couple.
While the couple changed, I had to capture some shots of the Riviera on it’s own. While I photographed, I got stopped by passersby’s several times, asking about and admiring the car. It’s definiltey a beauty! I created this custom storyboard of all the images I captured of the Riviera. A beautiful way to showcase the car!
Wishing you two the very best on your wedding day Meenu + Tarinder!
